THE APPLE DOESN’T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE
If you ever had any doubt that Nancy Pelosi is a social do-gooder who wants to control our behavior, look no further than the San Francisco Commission on the Environment that yesterday approved a 17-cent city tax on grocery bags. According to Paul, the vice-president of the Commission, “We're not trying to just charge a user fee; we're trying to make a change in behavior.”
Paul, however, is Paul Pelosi, Jr., son of House Minority Leader Nancy. Wonder where he got his belief that it’s good to use taxes to engage in social engineering?
Here’s hoping that the Democrats remain the minority in the House for quite some time.
