RIGHT WING BABES!
Babe #3: Lynne Stewart
This traffic stopper is the lawyer for high profile clients like Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman. Unfortunately, she’s being persecuted by the BusHilters running the Amerikkkan Government and now faces jail time.

Okay gents, altogether now: HUBBA, HUBBA, HUBBA!
Even more unfortunate: She is married.
Be still our beating hearts!

THE POINT AT WHICH I STOPPED READING
It was this paragraph:
Achieving and maintaining control to further its efforts to reshape the country in its own image has been this administration's leitmotif. While all presidents seek a certain level of control internationally, usually the actions taken to achieve that influence are a bit more subtle than a vice presidential pronouncement that seems at odds with the basic U.N. principles of "develop[ing]friendly relations among nations, [and] cooperat[ing] in solving international economic, social, cultural and humanitarian problems."

DIAL 1-800-A**HAT
I have had mixed emotions about leaving Iowa, but here is one reason I’m glad I’m gone: I no longer feel obligated to cover the typewriter repairmen masquerading as writers on the Dumb Moot Register’s Op-Ed page.
As Glenn Reynolds might say, “Get Ken Fuson a pair of pajamas.” Via Tusk and Talon, I find that the Royce, Kris, Joe and 29 have all given him a good fisking.
One thought: To all you Iowa bloggers, columns like Fuson’s means that you are getting under the skin of some of the folks at the Register’s op-ed page. Keep up the good work!

RIGHT WING BABES!
Babe #2: Tracie J. Sharp
This lovely woman is the president of the State Policy Network. She is the one in charge of making sure that state-based think tanks focusing on individual liberty have the resources necessary to kick some tail!

Okay gents, altogether now: HOT MAMA!!!!!
That deflating sound you here is your own hopes: She is married and has two kids. Alas, sometimes the fates can be cruel.

AFFIMATIVE ACTION FOR THE BLOGOSPHERE?
The absurdity from the left just keeps on coming…

SOCIAL SECURITY OSTRICH: REPRESENTATIVE MIKE THOMPSON
Congratulations to House Member Mike Thompson, D-California, our first congressional recipient of the Social Security Ostrich award! Thompson showed that he is sticking his head in the sand with this press release:
The Social Security and Medicare Trustees released a report today showing that Social Security will be able to pay full benefits through 2041 and at least 74 percent of benefits thereafter. Not only does Thompson refuse to acknowledge that taxpayers will have to come up with extra money to enable Social Security to pay full benefits through 2041, he also fails to mention that the “solvency” date declined by one year from last year’s report.
But not too worry. Thompson does acknowledge that there is a long-term problem:
“We are going to have to act to protect Social Security and I’m prepared to work with all of my colleagues to explore reasonable options to secure the future of this important program,” Thompson said. Remember that in the lexicon of the political left, “reasonable options” is synonymous with “tax increase.” Thus, Thompson also manages to stick his head in the sand a second time by being vague about his solutions.
Thompson may be the most deserving recipient of the Social Security Ostrich Award yet.
